Indiana Basketball: Lineup Report | Minnesota — March 4, 2020

The Hoosiers earn another resume boosting win with just over a week until Selection Sunday. Archie Miller’s group took care of business against the visiting Gophers for the second time this season, winning by a final margin of 72-67. Indiana saw the return of Joey Brunk, who had been a relatively quiet performer in the past handful of games. Notes from the Lineup Report

• Indiana’s starting lineup roared back on Wednesday, going +14 in almost 12 minutes of action. Joey Brunk played a big role, going for 12 and 8, as well as leading the team at +17 individually.
• Brunk played 28 minutes, the most he’s been on the court since the Michigan St. game.
• Rob Phinisee’s contributions against Minnesota can’t be understated. He played the final 10:22 on Wednesday, a stretch that started with IU trailing 51-50. Phinisee played 30 minutes for the first time since Jan. 15 at Rutgers.
• After leading the team in +/- individually multiple times over the last month, Race Thompson had the worst number on IU in that category (-13) on Wednesday. He’ll look to bounce back Saturday vs. Wisconsin.
• The Hoosiers used only 16 unique lineups, which has been one of the most reduced number of lineups used by Archie Miller this season. It seems the staff has been settling on less than 20 unique rotations per game.
