Indiana gets another known game in the 2019-2020 schedule as the university announced today that they will be hosting the Florida State Seminoles in the 2019 Big Ten-ACC Challenge. In the 21-year history of the challenge, this is the first time the Hoosiers have been paired with the Seminoles and it will be Florida State’s first trip ever to Assembly Hall.

The Hoosiers must be relieved that they are not matching up against Duke for a fourth time in five years and that they are not matched up with the defending NCAA Champions, the Virginia Cavaliers.

Florida State comes off of a 29-8 season where they ultimately lost in the NCAA Sweet Sixteen to 1-seeded Gonzaga. Their most notable victories last season include defeating Purdue in the 2018 challenge and defeating Virginia in the ACC Tournament semifinals. With a 13-5 ACC conference record, Florida State closed out their season fourth in a stacked ACC conference, and they were ranked top 10 in the nation.

The Hoosiers have four known non-conference games to date for the 2019-2020 season: Notre Dame, Arkansas, UConn, and now Florida State.
