At the conclusion of the 2019 NFL draft, two Hoosiers joined NFL rosters after going undrafted in the earlier seven rounds. Teammate Wes Martin was picked up earlier in the fourth round, but no other Hoosiers were announced in the 2019 NFL Draft.
Offensive lineman Brandon Knight joins the Dallas Cowboys, which he announced on Twitter. The 6-foot-5 senior from Noblesville, Indiana played at Noblesville High School and he started all 12 games his senior season for the Hoosiers. On 904 snaps, Knight only allowed 3 sacks.
Long snapper Dan Godsil is planning to join the Tampa Bay Buccaneer roster after also going undrafted in the 2019 NFL draft. The Hoosier set a number of combine records for the long snapper position in the 2019 NFL Combine. Godsil joins the Bucs as an undrafted free agent. Tampa Bay only has one other snapper on the roster, but Zach Triner has never snapped in an NFL game.
Safety Jonathan Crawford has also landed on an NFL roster he later announced. Crawford will be joining the Tennessee Titans’ backfield.
