The No. 3 Indiana men’s soccer team will host No. 14 Penn State in the Big Ten Tournament Championship game at Jerry Yeagley Field at Bill Armstrong Stadium on Saturday, April 17 at 5 pm et on BTN. Due to COVID-19 protocols, there will be no spectators.

IU (9-1-0) took down Maryland 2-0 in the semi-finals to secure the Hoosiers’ spot in the championship game. Indiana was dominant all season, winning its third straight Big Ten regular-season title. This was Indiana’s 17th regular-season Big Ten championship title, the most in conference history.

The Hoosiers also earned several conference accolades this season. Indiana has three players that were named to the All-Big Ten First Team, including sophomore phenom Victor Bezerra. Bezerra, a dynamic forward who is an academy product of the Chicago Fire, has 18 goals over his first two seasons at Indiana which is the most for a sophomore since the 2011-2012 campaign. On the sidelines, Todd Yeagley was named Big Ten Conference Coach of the Year once again, the fourth time he has bestowed the honor and the third season in a row.

Indiana has won the last five meetings with Penn State and leads the all-time series 34-14-4. The Hoosiers will look to add another W to the win column on Saturday, as they hope to claim the Big Ten Tournament Championship.
