“The Hoosier Sound” is here for its weekly episode with Noah Freeman, Matthew Lukens, and Nithin Krishnan. If you want to catch the live stream, check out our YouTube page for each episode.

Tough week for the Hoosier mens program as they went on the road, twice, to face Penn State and Ohio State. They did not play as well as they had been the previous two weeks, and lost their third straight game against Ohio State this past Saturday. With how the Hoosiers played, we can take one major factor from this week: home games are important. The Hoosiers are still 15-7 overall, and need at least 5 more victories to feel comfortable about breaking the NCAA Tournament streak of not playing in the big dance in March. Five more home games, four more road games. Win the home games, you reach the minimum goal for the season. Can the Hoosiers ever play well on the road this season? Will they be able to get those five victories in the final nine regular-season games? Lots of discussion to be had after a three-game losing streak.
