Two former Indiana basketball heros Jordan Hulls and Will Sheehey are teaming up overseas for the German FIBA Europecup Team: s.Oliver Würzburg, based out of Würzburg, Germany. The two players played together at IU between 2010 and 2013 under former Indiana head coach Tom Crean.
On the s.Oliver Würzburg Instagram account today, they announced the addition of Will Sheehey to their roster.
The post roughly translates to “Second new recruit: A second Hoosier comes to Wurzburg. Jordan Hulls’ buddy William Sheehey joins us from FC Porto.
After a stint with the Raptors 905 G-League team (and being part of their championship season), the 2013 Big Ten Sixth Man of the Year has been playing in Europe for Portuguese team FC Porto since 2017. Will Sheehey averaged 16.2 points per game last season — just shy of FC Porto’s team leader in scoring, Sasa Borovnjak.
Jordan Hulls, who signed with s.Oliver in 2018, won the FIBA Europecup MVP award for being the most valuable player in the 35 team league. He averaged 14.8 points per game, shooting nearly 50% from behind the arc. Additionally he tallied another 3.1 rebounds and 3.7 assists per contest over his 16 games played last season.
