After a brief stint with the Maine Red Claws, former Indiana University guard and 2019 NBA Draft lottery pick Romeo Langford returns back to the Boston Celtics roster. Langford played just a single game, which was his G League debut for the Red Cclaws.
He joins the Celtics just a day after Celtics forward Gordon Hayward fractured his hand in a game on Saturday against the San Antonio Spurs. At the moment, there is no timeline for Hayward’s return, but the available minutes does open an opportunity for Langford to step up and provide his services.
Langford scored 27 points in his G League debut. He also added 5 rebounds and 6 blocks. The New Albany native strung together a nice group of plays for his video highlight collection.
The Boston Celtics host the Dallas Mavericks on Monday, Nov. 11, 2019 at 7:15 pm, which will be televised on NBA TV. Boston is currently in first place of the Atlantic Division with a 7-1 record. Their only loss was against the 76ers.
