Toronto’s 114-110 victory over the Golden State Warriors at Oracle Arena has made OG Anunoby the first Hoosier NBA Champion since Isiah Thomas (1990).
The Toronto Raptors intend to activate former Indiana forward OG Anunoby for Game 2 of the 2019 NBA Finals after being out since April 11 due to an emergency appendectomy.
The Toronto Raptors may see OG Anunoby’s defensive versatility back at an opportune time, as they face the Warriors who could have Kevin Durant returning.
According to NBA.com, OG was diagnosed with an acute appendicitis, inflammation of the appendix, a finger-shaped tissue located in the lower right abdomen. The typical time frame for an appendectomy recovery is anywhere from two to four weeks.
