After receiving an offer from the Hoosiers back in July, fast-rising wing Jordan Geronimo of the 2020 class will be visiting Indiana on August 30, he tells IndianaHQ. The forward out of the New England area recently saw his recruitment explode after a number of impressive performances on the AAU circuit. According to reports, Jordan is planning to give former Indiana head coach Tom Crean a visit at Georgia on September 21 and he will visit Boston College on September 27.
Jordan Geronimo may very well be the gem of the 2020 class that has not yet gotten the full exposure that he deserves. The 6-foot-5 Geronimo is still waiting for recruiting services to update as he is currently not even ranked in the 247Sports composite. Rivals has him as a three-star prospect.
The breakout player has had high regards from many national recruiting analysts including Corey Evans.
Despite being underrated in current recruiting services, the Hoosiers are a part of a group of over ten high-major schools that have extended an offer to Geronimo. Those schools include Virginia Tech, Texas A&M, Penn State, Utah, VCU, Providence, Illinois State, Penn, Yale, Xavier, and Charlotte.

What does this mean for the Hoosiers?
Archie Miller is clearly looking to still add another athletic wing to the fold for the 2020 class. One other target at the top of the list is 2020 forward Matt Cross, who also happens to be from the New England area. After the first two commits of the 2020 class, Indiana’s focus and attention will likely turn towards Cross for the time being.
With the announcement of Jordan Geronimo’s visit taking place and being scheduled, his recruitment is now being a more realistic option. Recruiting includes a lot of talk and chatter, but until a prospect steps foot on campus, it is hard to accurately gauge the seriousness of the recruitment. The Hoosiers have to hurry because more and more schools are starting to get a hold of Geronimo’s capabilities.
