Freshman Romeo Langford has told multiple sources that he will declare for the 2019 NBA draft. Recall that players are still able to withdraw their declaration with the new NCAA rules. This does not come as a surprise as many have known Langford’s interest in playing at the next level.
For 2019, the deadline to withdraw their intention to participate in the 2019 NBA draft is May 29th, 2019. This date represents the 10th day after the NBA draft combine, which takes place in Chicago, Illinois between May 14th-19th.
According to Alex Bozich of InsideTheHall, Romeo Langford has not yet hired an agent.
The Hoosiers are looking at a number of scholarship vacancies for 2019 as Clifton Moore and Jake Forrester have announced their intention to transfer. Senior captain Juwan Morgan and graduate transfer Evan Fitzner will be graduating. And finally many analysts predict that Romeo Langford will remain in the NBA draft thus potentially opening a fifth scholarship for Archie Miller and staff to use in 2019. As noted the current 2019 Indiana Hoosiers class consists of Armaan Franklin and Trayce Jackson-Davis.
