He is currently ranked as the No. 8 power forward in the country and the No. 30 overall player in the country per 247sports national composite for the class of 2021. The national spotlight has been on his play ever since he entered high school and was invited to the CP3 Rising Stars Camp a year ago and recently the Nike 100 event last summer.
Caleb comes from Blackhawk Christian and is one of the main reasons that the school was ranked No. 1 in IHSAA Class A. Their team made it to the semi-finals in the state tournament last year before being upset by No. 3 Southwood High School in a close game 55-53. In Caleb’s first season, Blackhawk Christian finished 26-3 which shows how well he worked with the established strong frontline support by teammates Drake Thompson and Frankie Davidson.
By the Numbers
Now, he enters this season measuring 6-foot-9 and 215 lbs, he will continue to make a substantial impact for his team as he continues to grow and develop his skills in high school. Last season he averaged 14.4 points and 6.6 rebounds per game. During the postseason, he continued his impressive play against Gary 21st Century with 32 points, 16 rebounds and setting a school record by hitting all 16 free throws in their 100-62 win. He has shined on both ends of the court with his incredible length, athleticism, and speed.
