According to Steve Wiltfong, 2020 OL Josh Fryar has scheduled an official visit to Bloomington. The Beech Grove, Indiana star has already visited Bloomington a number of times and recently took two official visits to Penn State and Oregon. On the recruiting trail, Fryar already holds offers from the biggest collegiate programs. His offers-to-date include Alabama, Oklahoma, Ohio State, Michigan, and Wisconsin among others. Despite the competition, the Hoosiers have made him a priority target for the 2020 recruiting class.

According to 247 Sports’ 2020 rankings, Fryar is rated as a four-star player and he is ranked second highest in the state of Indiana. He ranks below only Cole Brevard, a former Indiana-target and now Penn State commit.

Josh Fryar is a 305 pound, 6-foot-5 offensive lineman. According to his “verified results” from his 247Sports profile, he runs a 5.5 second 40-yard dash, 4.78 second shuttle, and a 22.4 inch vertical. He has a wing span of 80 inches (6-foot-8) and he has a hand size of 9.5 inches.

Josh Fryar’s high school team Beech Grove started off hot out of the gates with a 6-1 showing last season; however, the team would then lose the next two road games (against Triton Central and East Central) to close their regular season. The Hornets were paired up against Mooresville High School in the IHSAA 4A State Sectionals, but lost by a final score of 49 to 21.
